Teas to Shrink the Prostate

NETTLE TEA

A 2015 study conducted in adult male rats found that nettle root extract may prevent some effects of BPH when taken for 6 weeks.

The chemicals in nettle root tea may interfere with some medications. Therefore, you should avoid taking nettle root with:

Lithium; diabetes medications; blood pressure medications; sedatives or warfarin.

Recipe

5 nettle leaves

1 liter of water

Boil for 3 to 4 minutes. Then let it sit for at least 10 minutes before drinking.

HIBISCUS TEA

Hibiscus tea has numerous health benefits. It is rich in antioxidants, can help lower blood pressure, and recent findings show that it helps slow the growth of prostate cancer cells.

You can use dried or fresh hibiscus flowers to make the tea. Serve hot or cold with honey and a squeeze of fresh lemon.

Caution, hibiscus may affect blood sugar levels and blood pressure and may interact with acetaminophen (Tylenol). Do not take within 2 weeks of any scheduled surgery.

Recipe

i) Bring the water with the hibiscus, cinnamon and cloves to a boil and let it boil for 2 minutes;

ii) Off the heat, add the lemon, sweeten to taste and strain. Serve hot or iced.

MATCHA TEA (GREEN)

The great benefit of matcha is in a substance called catechin, which is a kind of antioxidant.

Today there are already important studies that report that catechin has benefits that help prevent some types of cancer, such as stomach, prostate and even breast cancer.

Consuming two cups of matcha or green tea a day (since it comes from the same plant) can help control diabetes and even triglycerides.

Recipe

1 - Place the powdered matcha tea and the coconut sugar in a cup or glass;

2 - Then add warm water and mix with a spoon or a whisk;

3 - Take the hot milk and pour it into the cup until it is almost full and mix everything until it is a soft light green color;

4 - That's it, now you can enjoy your hot matcha;
